AAUW’s National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) is a two-and-a-half-day conference that helps students hone leadership skills. AAUW collaborates with NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators) to present this annual leadership conference, which began in 1985. Over the years Texas colleges and universities have sent many students to the NCCWSL conferences.

Location: The University of Maryland, College Park (DC metro area)
A wonderful opportunity awaits Texas young women college students who participate in the National Conference for College Women Leaders (NCCWSL). AAUW Texas branch presidents have been notified of the conference and the opportunity for branches to obtain a SHARE grant of $585 (early bird registration fee) per student.
Very important – the deadline to apply for a SHARE grant is Saturday, February 26, 2026 Registration includes housing (double occupancy), opening reception and some meals. Transportation and other expenses are costs beyond the registration fee; these are costs that branches and/or others will need to assist the students.
